How do I activate my Commerce product? (Video Tutorial)

Customer Portal and select the appropriate project.

Navigate to the left sidebar and under Product Activation, select the appropriate product.

Click on the Actions button in the right corner and select Renew.

You’ll then be prompted to select the activation keys to be renewed:

• You can renew multiple keys at the same time only
if they have the same product type and the same dates. If you select multiple keys with different product types or different dates, the Renew Keys button will be disabled.

On the next page, you will be asked to select an active subscription:

• The selected option must have a sufficient quantity of available keys.
• If available, the complimentary option can be selected as well. In this case, on the next screen you will be asked to specify the start date and purpose of the complimentary key(s).

On the last page you will see read-only fields with either the number of instances, or server details of the keys being renewed.

After completing the form, your new activation keys will be listed in the Activation Keys table.

Important Notes

• The option to Renew an activation key is only available for keys with expiration dates. If a key has a DNE - Does Not Expire value, it is not necessary to extend its duration.

 

To activate your Commerce product, Administrators should navigate to the Product Activation tab on the sidebar navigation  in Customer Portal and select Commerce.

For Commerce on Liferay Versions 7.3 -7.4, your Commerce Activation Page will display the following chart giving you instructions on how to activate your Commerce Product.

For Commerce on Liferay Versions 7.1 -7.2, you can download pre-generated licenses for each subscription term.  If you have multiple subscription terms active, you’ll be able to select and download a license for each one.
