Microsoft Edge Compatibility
Defining Support
Liferay seeks to ensure that the product would be able to connect to an LDAP server, authenticate users using a connected LDAP server, import users and user groups, and export user account updates to a connected LDAP server. Liferay will assist in configuring the product to enable these functionalities, and will resolve any Liferay product issues that prevent their use.
The compatibility matrix for multiple versions of Liferay Digital Experience Platform (DXP) lists Edge (latest) as tested and compatible with Liferay DXP. However, Microsoft has two distributions of its Edge browser: EdgeHTML (also called Edge Legacy) and Edge Chromium.Edge Chromium
Liferay DXP 7.3 and Above
Installing and configuring any LDAP server is the responsibility of the subscriber. Issues with the LDAP server application are the responsibility of the third-party vendor to resolve.
Edge Chromium is the Edge browser tested as compatible with Liferay DXP 7.3 and above.
